Evernham wins at East Lincoln track

East Lincoln Speedway owner Ray Evernham raced his way to the checkered flag in Saturday night’s Carolina Racesaver Sprint Car feature. His nephew, Willy Evernham, found victory lane in the Legends Modifieds. Lincolnton’s Randy Powell topped the Super Stock Fours while Jacob Kinder of Iron Station won in Rookie Stock Fours. In Limited Sportsman, it was Ronnie White’s week to go to victory lane after finishing second and third in previous weekends this month. In Renegades, Stanley’s David Lucas held off last week’s winner, Jamie Major, to get his first victory of the season.
